The Egan Maritime Institute is located within the historic Coffin School at 4 Winter Street in Nantucket Town, two blocks beyond the Pacific Bank heading up Main Street.
The Coffin School is open to the public daily from May 24 to Columbus Day, Monday, October 13, 2008. Hours of operation are 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission to the Coffin School is free to Egan Maritime Institute members, $5 for adults, and $3 for students.
