Programs and Egan Maritime Institute

Working with on-island and off-island organizations, the Egan Maritime Institute presents a calendar of events that includes lectures, films, concerts, and symposia focusing on Nantucket and other maritime topics. Additionally, Egan Maritime makes space available at the Coffin School to community groups upon request. Nantucket Community Sailing is located in the lower level of the Coffin School and offers sailing courses at a reasonable cost. Together, Nantucket Community Sailing and Egan Maritime co-sponsor the Admiral’s Cup, an annual dingy race and the Whaleboat Rowing Club.
